That’s why when I decided to focus on my health, my first step was to give my pantry a makeover.

Whenever you’re ready to take control of your health and transform your kitchen, here are 5 easy steps to get you started:

  1. Take a status quo check: Review all foods in your pantry and refrigerator.

  2. Out with the bad: Toss all processed foods. Anything that’s expired, with white flour, sugar, artificial flavors and additives.

  3. Get inspired: Once you’ve cleared out the clutter, look up sample healthy meal options. Eating clean doesn’t have to be boring or complicated. Keep it simple.

  4. Plan your meals: Schedule time for meal planning during your first week of clean eating. Make it a priority. This will help you stay on track.

  5. Shop smart: Make a list of must-have items before heading to the grocery store. Focus on choosing whole, nutrient-dense foods in their natural state.


Out of sight, out of mind!

I can still recall how uncomfortable I felt during my first pantry makeover. But now, my kitchen is a well-organized, inspiring and creative space.

By tossing all processed food, reflect on what you say YES to. Take a step towards a healthier lifestyle by making over your pantry.
