Tiny habits that survive busy days
Happy Friday, Yellowers!
I’m slightly obsessed with optimizing my daily habits and energy levels.
I track what gives me energy.
What drains it.
How my mood, focus, and reactions shift.
And over time, one thing became very clear to me:
It’s not the big routines that change everything. It’s the small habits you repeat without thinking.
Don’t get me wrong. I love a slow morning. Taking my time to stretch, walk my dog, get ready, and prepare breakfast.
But most days, that’s not always realistic. And I don’t want my well-being to depend on perfect conditions.
So one of my favorite methods is habit stacking.
That simply means: You attach a small, healthy habit to something you already do.
No extra time. No extra decisions. No pressure.
Here are a few habit stacks I use regularly, just to give you an idea:
While brushing my teeth → I do 5 squats or calf raises
While in the shower → I name 3 things I’m looking forward to or appreciate today
While waiting for my tea → I open a window and take 3 intentional breaths
While cleaning the kitchen → I turn on my Yellowers playlist and dance
While I blow-dry my hair → I do slow neck circles
These habits don’t ask for motivation. They work on busy days. They travel well. And they quietly protect your energy.
If this approach to working with your energy resonates with you, I have a New Year's gift for you.
I put together a free guide called “100 Micro Habits for Better Energy.”
It’s a simple list of tiny habits you can stack into: mornings, workdays, evenings, travel days, and low-energy days.

Tiny habits may not look impressive. But they change how your days feel.
The whole point of these habits is to help build the quiet confidence that comes from doing small things you said you would.
Your Tiny Experiment
This week, pick one moment that already happens every day.
Attach one tiny habit to it.
Try it for 3 days.
Notice: Does your energy shift even a little?
Let me know your favorite habit stacking habits :)
